Quality Assurance Coordinator

POWER Constructors, Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator. Work will be conducted in New Mexico.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will provide Quality Assurance oversight and support to help confirm the EPC Contractor(s) activities are executed in compliance with the project’s specifications, quality plan and requirements. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will report to Quality Assurance Manager and assist the Owner’s representatives as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of EPC submitted documentation to ensure they meet project deliverables. Maintain detailed records of investigations of project deliverables.

  • Communicate with the Quality Assurance Manager and report any findings of deviation(s) from project requirements.

  • Read and ensure full understanding of Project Related Documents which may include but not limited to the following: Scope of Work, Technical Specifications, Quality Plans, Safety and Environmental Plan.

  • Ensure all Contractor’s Quality Assurance and confirm EPC Contractor’s quality control documentation is properly maintained onsite and available on Owner’s document control platform.

  • Ensure all required Contractor material and installation inspections are conducted and recorded.

  • Record and report any deficiency or non-compliance of project deliverables to the Quality Assurance Manager.

  • Regularly review the EPC Contractor inspection material reports of material delivered to site.

  • Work collaboratively with the site team to initiate the punch/deficiency list(s).

  • Follow up and ensure closure of open items and report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

  • Provide the Quality Assurance Manager with continuous updates on findings. This includes, but not limited to, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Equipment/Material Deliveries, Non- Conformance Reports and deviations from project deliverables.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or Engineering focused degree.

  • Minimum of three (3) years in Quality Assurance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in reviewing project/requirement deliverables.

  • Proficient in Quality Assurance methodology.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient working on all MS Office platforms.

  • Writing reports and communicating effectively.
