Radiology Technologist (XRAY/CT/MRI) Per Diem 8-Hour Evening Shift
The Radiologic Technologist I perform Radiological Procedures at a technical level sufficient to provide adequate diagnosis. Radiologic Technologist I assist the Radiologist or other designated Physician in performing Radiological Procedures on patients ranging in age from Pediatric to geriatric. Radiologic Technologist I must participate in quality control procedures for the Imaging Services Department.
Essential Job Duties:
Performs and/or assists with all Radiographic Procedures with efficiency and quality according to the approved Departmental Procedure Manual.
Reviews images for proper positioning, technique and patient identification in order to be sent to the Radiologist as a completed examination.
Demonstrates a complete working knowledge of all radiographic equipment within the Imaging Department.
Demonstrates the ability to correctly image and identify anatomical structures as it relates to diagnostic imaging and uses proper patient positioning. Correctly marks images with appropriate notations and initials.
Demonstrates proper use of patient shielding devices and uses ALARA consistently while performing job tasks.
Performs any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school graduate
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
Licensure/Certifications:
Current CPR (BLS)
Current ARRT Certificate, in good standing, preferred.
Current CRT, California Radiological Technologist Certificate.
