Job Description
The Registration Coordinator I, under general supervision, provides event registration services with another event coordinator, business coordinators, and customer service for small to medium workshops, courses, training events, and conferences hosted across Texas for the AgriLife agency College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Extension, and Research from preparation through creation, support, and close.
Essential Responsibilities
Online event registration site creation and support:
Reviews, edits, and publishes event registration content and files with event organizers. Creates and publishes simple and complex multi-page event registration sites to meet event organizer requirements for regular registrations, sponsorships, waitlisting, etc. Reviews coworker’s event registration sites prior to event registration start. Enters and reviews financial data strings to ensure error-free transactions. Manages event rosters with event organizers and reports with business coordinators.
Event organizer training and support:
Supports event organizer use of account and notification settings, rosters, registration communication tools, and reports. Creates knowledge base with support team, creates JIT training for event organizers. Trains intrateam members on STOVA cross-functional processes. Trains event organizers to use STOVA to create sites, support registrants, review rosters, pull reports.
Project management:
Plans and schedules event registration support work, creates and updates process documentation from lessons learned, and records event registration data and reports. Collaborates and communicates intrateam with business coordinators, customer service agents, e-commerce agents, and inter-team to marketing and communication unit. Emails, calls, and meets online with event organizers and digital education team members in an appropriate, professional, and timely manner using Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; timely, clear, and transparent.
Ability to present content to others in a learning/training environment.
Ability to foster and maintain working relationships to support business outcomes and customers.
Attention to detail.
Ability to learn from experiences and translate them into process improvements.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with others to complete work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two to three years in event registration.
One year creating and supporting sites on an event registration platform (examples: Aventri, Cvent, Eventbrite, Fonteva, Stova, Vfairs, Whova).
Project management certification.
Event management certification.
Event and/or web publishing training and experience.

This is not a remote position, however, applications for Partially Remote and Flexible schedules are accepted after a 90-day performance review period for those who qualify.
