ICONMA, LLC RF Test & Troubleshooting Technician in United States

Job Overview: We are seeking a RF Test & Troubleshooting Technician with expertise in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies. The successful candidate will perform various electronic and electro-mechanical tasks to support production units, ensuring they meet specified performance criteria. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical analysis and testing over temperature, vibration, and mechanical shock.

  • Use advanced manual and automated test equipment per module specifications and test procedures.

  • Input and retrieve data using computers for test procedures, assembly drawings, and schematics.

  • Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering for procedural development and product troubleshooting.

    Required Experience and Skills:

  • ACTIVE or previously held U.S. Government Security Clearance

  • High School Diploma

  • Familiarity with RF equipment: RF Signal Generator, Signal Analyzer, Oscilloscope, RF Power Meters, Client Network Analyzers.

  • Ability to work under a microscope for RF microwave hybrid assemblies.

  • Proficiency with hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers.

  • Strong dexterity and eye/hand coordination.

  • Ability to read and follow detailed process sheets and drawings.

  • Good computer skills for data retrieval and input.

  • Experience operating mechanical vibration equipment.

  • Experience in soldering components as per J-STD-001.

  • Ability to analyze RF Microwave test data.

  • Experience in writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics.

  • Familiarity with working in ESD and FOD controlled environments.

    Desired Skills:

  • Root Cause Analysis and Component Failure Analysis.

  • Experience with Facilities Systems, such as Process Chilled Water, HVAC, Electrical, Nitrogen delivery, and Compressed Clean Dry Air.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PLC, and Control Systems.

  • Experience with Maximo maintenance.

    An ACTIVE or previously held U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
