RCM Technologies SAP Master Data Specialist in United States

Full Time Contract Title or Role: SAP Master Data Specialist Location: Barceloneta, Puerto Rico Length of Contract: 6-12 months Company Description: Our client is a major pharmaceutical company with a significant presence in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. The company operates two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the area.

Manufacturing Focus:

  • Small Molecules: One facility specializes in the production of small molecule drugs, utilizing advanced technologies like massing granulation, direct compression, and tablet coating.

  • Biologics: The other facility focuses on large molecule manufacturing, producing biologics bulk drug substances, aseptic small volume parenterals, and pre-filled syringes for various injectable products.

    Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP Master Data Management Specialist to join our client team in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and SAP systems, with a focus on master data management. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and business acumen to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across the organization. The candidate will also be involved in developing and implementing Power Apps solutions to streamline master data management processes. Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Governance: Oversee the governance and maintenance of critical master data attributes within the SAP supply chain ecosystem, including materials, customers, vendors, locations, and transportation.

  • Data Quality: Implement and monitor data quality standards and metrics, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and errors.

  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize master data processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.

  • Power Apps Development: Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement Power Apps solutions to streamline master data management tasks and improve data accessibility.

  • User Support: Provide training and support to end-users on master data processes and systems.

  • Data Migration: Participate in data migration projects, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of master data to new systems or platforms.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as GxP, and internal policies related to data management.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support master data-related projects and initiatives.

    Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SAP Master Data Management, with a strong focus on supply chain-related master data.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP modules relevant to supply chain, such as MM, SD, and PP.

  • Experience with Power Apps development and deployment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

    Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
