Job Description

Plans, coordinates. and develops assessment programs and initiatives and supports the goals and objectives of the program-level accreditation. Monitors progress toward defined objectives by collecting and analyzing data and communicating with faculty, staff, and other constituents. Interfaces with personnel, external accrediting bodies and other partners to ensure accurate information and submission of assessment data.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, develops, coordinates, and implements assessment and academic program review activities; continually monitors progress toward identified goals and objectives to support continual accreditation of the college.

  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data related, strategic plan, enrollment, and other academic activities for the purposes of accreditation, academic program reviews, self-studies, college-level decision-making, and other related activities.

  • Performs data visualization and analytics.

  • Serves as point-of-contact for internal and external constituencies as it relates to assessment information: compiles reports and information for dissemination to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provides professional guidance, consultation, and support to faculty staff, administrators, and other related personnel as it pertains to the colleges assessments, collection of data, and other related activities.

  • Interprets assessment findings, analyzes, and compiles comprehensive statistical and narrative data; assists with the preparation of official assessment reports to summarize findings.

  • Maintains knowledge of state-of-the-art equipment, pedagogy, technology, equipment, and/or systems.

  • Maintains and provides technical support (user access, role management, workflow tracking, communication, vendor interface, and training) for vendor solutions, including Xitracs Enterprise and Interfolio.

  • Coordinates core assessment.

  • Coordinates academic program reviews.

  • Coordinates institutional effectiveness planning and reporting.

  • Coordinates tenure and promotion process.

  • Conducts faculty workload and faculty sufficiency reporting.

  • Assists Registrar’s Office with faculty reporting to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (CBM0C8, CBM008).

  • Coordinates activities and provides training to staff.

  • Coordinates and reviews annual reports for accuracy and completeness. Serves on various related committees.

  • Coordinates the creation and dissemination of information. Serves as liaison to administrators.

  • Provides support for data collection/documentation, research projects, data mining, and web site design/update/creativity.

  • Coordinates calculation and analysis of data/scores.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Four years of related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, business, STEM, education, or related field.
