Sartorius Service Engineer in United States

The Service Engineer, either Inhouse or Field, will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, checks and repairs operations balances for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

The Service Engineer, either Inhouse or Field, will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, checks and repairs operations of balances for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches or ensure the maintenance, decontamination and repair of all brands of pipettes and balances at the metrology laboratory

  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks

  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

  • Produce timely and detailed service reports

  • Document processes

  • Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems

  • Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols

  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation

  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

    Qualifications & Skills (Minimum):

  • Experience working in a team and Communication skills

  • Experience and ability to use hand tools (Such as Tweezers, Screwdriver)

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules

  • Ability to use PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Native Japanese with low intermediate English skills, ability to read and write (TOEIC 500)

  • Passionate to improve on English skills

  • Aichi or Mie prefecture

    Qualifications & Skills (Ideal):

  • Technical degree or certification

  • 2+ years proven field service experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment

  • English literacy

  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications

  • Strong language skills in both English and Japanese

  • Aichi or Mie prefecture
