SME Product Engineering is a combination of a technical expert of processes, programs, and systems in one or multiple functional areas and a change manager with a focus on a change management team to improve current business systems or/and processes. SME Product Engineering will lead all change management-related projects, including CM tool deployments, must train the Site´s employees about CM (ECN, MCN, PCN), and conduct audits to ensure the proper and efficient execution of the CM Procedure and improve the site CM processes. Through the standardization, optimization, and simplification of projects, SME Product Engineering ensures the stakeholders effectively and efficiently execute the change management process.Requires Engineering Bachelors degree or equivalent; Experience in SME Product Engineering I position; 5-8 years of working experience in change management or related field; 10 or more years of experience in an ECO Coordinator/Product Engineering function with SAP experience; Must have experience working with product specifications and customer documentation. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Functional knowledge and expertise

• This position requires more than 15 years of experience in Optoelectronics products (Automotive/Consumer Cameras, Lidar, AR/VR...)

• This position will help to validate all tooling, techniques, processes to define the best approach vs product performance. Strong understanding on the basics of Optics physics, such as MTF, wavelength, optics alignment and test and calibration strategies is mandatory. Expertise is also critical in COB processes (die attach, wire-bonding...), clean-room management, Passive and active optics placement processes, and in all needed back-end processes especially when susceptible to impact optical performances. Having a basic understanding of the electronic design of a camera is also needed. This role will determine and improve the TTQ and TTP (time to quality and time to profit),. This sector requires a base line & standards implementation

• This position will be focused on leading, from design to Mass-Production, any optoelectronic product development in Mexico

• High level of expertise required for:

• Product design reviews (mechanical, electrical and optical design) with the soft-skill capabilities to convince customers/internal design teams to modify design for cost, quality, standardization, time-to-market, product performances)

• Knowledge on adhesives used for die attach and lens attach

• Process performance for die attach, wire-bonding, image focusing (passive and active alignment), camera calibration and image tests

• Process performance for material and products cleaning processes

• Knowledge in Failure analysis equipments for Camera modules (SEM-EDX, FTIR, mechanical stress...)
