It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
Summary of the Job:
The Enterprise Architect will provide strategic technical leadership and oversight across FNBO's technology teams, ensuring business objectives are met, platforms are modernized, growth is enabled, and technology is a key driver in business success.
About This Role:
Design new solutions, evolve existing solutions, and drive technical decision making for key initiatives across the enterprise
Improve resiliency, scalability, and adaptability of our product offerings
Evolve architecture governance policies and standards to ensure strong architectural foundations and consistency across systems
Gain a high degree of business acumen and work directly with business partners to align technology with business-driven roadmaps, translating strategic requirements into technical solutions
Establish future technology direction for the IT organization
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption that align with the bank's modernization goals
Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure architectures meet regulatory requirements
Enable tech talent via mentoring, coaching, communities of practice, and other education
Help solve the organization’s toughest technical challenges
Guide modernization across the enterprise with a focus on cloud adoption strategies, hybrid infrastructure evolution and breaking up of large, legacy monoliths
Possess expert knowledge and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple technical areas
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in architecture and 2+ years in enterprise architecture
Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, API frameworks, and microservices architecture
Experience with modern development methodologies and DevOps practices
Proven collaborator, with a focus on relationships and teamwork
Strong communication and presentation skills
Architectural skills spanning a breadth of technologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $152,533.00-$259,307.00
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
