  To strengthen our team in Zhangjiagang , we are looking for you as a(n) Sr. Project Engineer - Engineering System.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up of E3D / PDMS system for projects in line with company and project procedures within the stipulated time and schedule while starting up the project, managing the E3D / PDMS system of various projects and continuous technical support.

• Responsible for coordination with E3D/PDMS admin of Engineering Contractor of the project and Internal German E3D / PDMS Administrators.

• Responsible for development and implementation of project and companywide Catalogues and Specifications for piping & pipe supports, structural, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines in E3D / PDMS.

• Support end users in usage of Internally provided Templates in the drafting module of E3D / PDMS and Internally Developed Tools.

• Make sure that the integrity of the 3D model database is well maintained and regular transfer of information from 3D model to other IT systems is functioning properly as expected. Plan maintenance of model and create backups as per company procedures.

• Work closely with the discipline leads of the projects (CDI & Internal) to understand their requirements and address their demand on time.

• In case of any technical challenges, troubleshoot to resolve the issues on time and if required escalate to Germany Based Support of E3D / PDMS for quick resolution.

• Be familiar with the workflows of all the Engineering / IT systems implemented in the project. Be proactive and provide your input, take part in development and highlight in advance if there are any technical challenges.

• Conduct regular trainings to multi-discipline end users (designers) of the 3D model.

• Provide Internal E3D / PDMS Service for small modifications of Plant for Internal customers.

• Create and Setup Guidelines and Best Practice for handling Navisworks 3D-Review Files.

• Conduct Laser scans, provide Scan Models to Internal and External Users, and integration into E3D Database and lead PDS migration projects.

• Keep Close contact with German E3D / PDMS Team to support and take part in development activities in E3D / PDMS Area.

• other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications Required:

Educational background:

• Bachelor or above in Process / Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Skills:

• at least 5 years working experience in piping area in engineering for chemical design institute or in chemical plant operator.

• Have good knowledge of piping, equipment layout, material and familiar with design codes (HG, GB, SH, ASTM, ASME, DIN/EN etc.)

• Strong background in Aveva's PDMS / E3Dsoftware, thorough working knowledge in all the modules of PDMS / E3D. Preferred with experience in development and implementation of Catalogs and Specifications of piping.

• Preferable with PML Language Programming skills.

• Good knowledge in Navisworks Software.

• Good technical knowledge in other software (e.g. AutoCAD, etc.) is preferable but not necessary.

• Good verbal and written English.

• Good spirit of teamwork, strong communication skill, open mindedness, and high sense of responsiveness.

• Willingness to continuously build knowledge and broaden skills.

• Willingness for Business Trips to Meet Engineering Contractors and Internal Customers.
