We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join the digital engineering team within Ferguson IT. As a Senior Salesforce Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications developed. As a member working in a team environment, you will take direction from solution architects and leads on development activities.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.

  • Ensure that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.

  • Develop applications using programmatic components like Apex, LWC, Webservices, etc.

  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Passionate Salesforce coder with 4+ years of application development experience.

  • Hands on experience working in a multi-team Salesforce environment.

  • Solid grasp of core platform capabilities: Flows, Data Model, Security Model, SSO, etc.

  • Good understanding and proven experience with both front-end and back-end development using Lightning Web Components, Apex, JS, HTML/CSS, etc.

  • Experience designing and implementing external facing applications using Experience Cloud.

  • Experienced in Salesforce SDLC activities including source control with Git and deployment tools like Copado or Git Actions.

  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Self-starter who can work independently.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.

  • Salesforce Certifications Strongly Preferred: Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I/II, Architect level certifications.

  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work optimally with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$6,805.95 - $14,834.37

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
