BayCare Health System Sterile Processing Tech Certified SRO 13-week assignment in United States

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking certified Sterile Processing Techs to join our outstanding and compassionate float team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:

  • System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department-assignment availability is based on the needs of the health system.

  • Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

  • Hospital Location/Shift times varies.

The Sterile Processing Technician - Certified is responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures.

  • Required specific skills also includes knowledge of decontamination processes, preparation, and packaging, sterilization techniques based on manufacturer recommendations, and storage of sterilized items, as well as

  • Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up and interpreting policies, procedures, and protocols and reviewing performance in compliance with recognized standards.

  • As a BayCare SRO Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will be required to float throughout the BayCare Health System as the needs dictate.

  • Required Experience is 1 year in sterile processing. Certification required.

  • Required- Sterile Processing Certification

  • Required- High School or Equivalent

  • Required Experience is minimum of 1 year.
