RCM Technologies Structural Engineer in United States

Direct Placement Title or Role: Structural Engineer Compensation: Up to110K/yr - plus benefits, commensurate with experience Location: Montvale, NJ Hybrid Company Description: With a rich history of delivering excellence, RCM Energy Services offers a broad range of engineering and project management services that span power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy sectors. Position Description: RCM is seeking Senior Structural Engineers a minimum of 6 years of experience in the design of industrial and commercial buildings, electrical generation stations (fossil and nuclear), electrical substations, and miscellaneous structures. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement for a mid-level structural engineer through participation in a team-oriented and interdisciplinary approach to developing innovative engineering solutions for our local, national and international clients. Responsibilities:

  • Willing to sign and seal structural drawings in various States

  • Experience with Concrete and Steel Design

  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis, preferably STAAD Pro and RISA 3D

  • Ability to develop and review design drawings, specifications, and calculations

  • Ability to prepare structural calculations using Excel and MathCAD

  • Ability to conduct site visits and structural field investigation

  • Work within a team-oriented environment to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with industrial sites, electric generating stations, and/or substations

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in Structural Engineering

  • Minimum of six (6) years of industrial and commercial building design, Generation Stations and/or Substation design experience

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
