How You'll Help Us Connect the World

Under direct supervision organizes, coordinates and manages the group leaders of their different production lines and / or assigned areas.

Under indirect supervision coordinates and monitors the activities of the production collaborators responsible for manufacturing the different products that they build in the production lines and / or areas under their charge.

It is responsible for complying with the goals and targets of the key metrics corresponding to its lines and / or production areas.

Coordinates the needed resources to achieve an effective shift start, ensuring that each of its lines and / or production areas don’t incur unnecessary downtime.

Prepares and performs the shift change, giving feedback and giving status of the process (production orders, sales, materials, quality, safety, organization, order, and cleaning among).

Project:

Scheduled and plan the day's work, establish priorities and the sequence to follow based on the start / end dates of the production orders released.

Direct:

It includes the delegation of authority, timely decision-making and the correct escalation process, on the other hand, it is aware of the importance of keeping good interpersonal relationships with its collaborators and, in general, with all co-workers of the support departments. It ensures that, when communicating, their instructions are always clear, specific, and complete.

Develop:

Defines the development strategies for the people under his charge with the aim of improving their technical, administrative and leadership skills and abilities through training plans for both new hiring people and existing people, improving in this way the levels of efficiency and productivity of its collaborators. It will also be responsible for motivating, promoting, recognizing and assessing the good performance of its collaborators, as well as giving feedback in a positive way when the results are not as expected. This will motivate the correct execution of work, increase morale, job satisfaction and achieve high quality.

Control:

Execute the monitoring process in order to check the accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the personnel in charge, it also creates awareness in all its collaborators so that each one of them are the own auditors and evaluators of their own tasks, assignments and responsibilities. Evaluates systematically and constantly the individually performance and as a team in order to detect obstacles and / or restrictions that hinder the achievement of objectives. Define and follow up with his team the action plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

Review and execute daily production requirements plan compliyng with delivery metrics.

Must develop controls for scrap, consumables, absenteeism/rotation, efficiency, quality (RTY / Stop line), downtime, incidents.

check pre-payroll.

Plan over time.

Review the balance chart of their production lines together with the Manufacturing Engineer that gives the support to his area.

Participates and/or coordinates diverse events and meetings.

Updates and tracks level changes of his collaborators.

Attend and suggest solutions for the general needs that arise from the collaborators.

Updating information boards related to the production process.

Participate on continuous improvement projects.

Execute BOP audits.

Comply and enforce the safe norms and rules.

Execute the activities indicated on standard work document.

This position / function must be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment administration system, its Policy, the applicable standards and procedures.

Related Education & Experience

Industrial Engineering degree preferably and / or verifiable experience as production supervisor.

Two years minimum on similar position, preferably.
