We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our manufacturing site in Delicias, México.

General Summary

Implementation of an effective Quality System, that assure that the process and product fulfill the requirements, Standards and specifications established, audits processes, machinery, and equipment, assess result of samples, statistical and method, to take part at internal audits to Quality System and Projects management.

Define, approve and allow the application of quality requirements, quality control plans and control points to ensure the adequacy of controls in the processes, in the product in process as well as in the final product.

Duties & Responsibilities

Act as a link between the different departments to ensure the quality of the products.

Promote and practice structured continuous improvement through the use of quality tools.

Manage quality investigations and audit processes related to our processes, raw materials, labor and fundamental elements of the 6Ms.

Work to ensure that results are applied to quality improvement efforts.

Improve effectiveness of quality management systems through participation in internal audits, management reviews, and document reviews. Modify QMS as business environment and product lines require. Facilitate effective corrective actions.

Work with all departments to implement advanced quality tools, such as control plans, statistical process control, sampling and statistical analysis, risk analysis, etc., to ensure that processes are designed, implemented and operated to maximize quality.

Increase process knowledge through capability analysis and other statistical approaches. Identify and report quality problems or trends. Assist in identifying and eliminating the root causes of these problems.

Supervise the corrective actions processes with each of the departments involved to ensure that the resolution issues are identified and ensure that the solutions are applied by the corresponding departments and in the production areas where they are required.

Promote teamwork within quality group, within site and with other CommScope sites.

Provide knowledge and skills to control and / or analyze quality problems and solve them through the implementation of solutions.

Define, approve and monitor the application of quality requirements, quality plans, and quality control points to ensure the adequacy of the controls and the resulting products.

Participate in the development of FMEA's, as well as the realization of Control Plans.

This position/function must be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment administration system, its Policy, the applicable standards and procedures.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related.

• 2 years of experience in Quality area in manufacturing or related environment.

• Bilingual Spanish/ English minimum 70%

• Strong verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills Required

• TL9000Knowledge of ISO9001/TL9000.

• Have a practical knowledge of statistical analysis and process improvement techniques, Management of desirable Minitab).

• Statistical Control Graphics

• Manual of Manufacturing Criteria
