Our Autonomous vehicle client is looking for Technical Program Manager in Foster City, CA Description: The Electrical Integration Lab (Labbot) at Client is a multidisciplinary team (software, electrical, mechanical) that design, build, manage, test, and enhance robot testing assets that are used company-wide to develop and validate Client’s robotaxi solution. As a Technical Program Manager (TMP) for the Labbot team, you will be responsible for new product introductions of robot test assets, owning the BOM, production plan and sourcing parts. The role will manage some of Labbot production readiness, including resource allocation planning, production scheduling, incoming material readiness, and coordination between different production stages; starting from design and engineering, through testing and validation and NPI. Responsibilities: You will support the Bot Lab engineers and technicians with coordination of robot designs and NPI plans; oversee operations, planning, execution, and testing of new builds. Develop, review and improve the robot as-built BOM creation using PLM systems. Maintain BOM for our various test assets (Labbot, MiniBots, SystemBots) and make updates as parts are swapped/added/removed. Keep information up to date to maintain configuration management. Follow SAP procedures to request replacement parts for all of our various test assets. This position will also serve to promote best practices and internal business processes with relation to change management and general PLM functions. Communicate overall engagement, project status, and risk clearly to internal management, calling out key issues. Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies. Work cross-functionally with product engineering, manufacturing, test engineering, procurement, supplier, and quality teams to support the build plan execution.
