Job Description

Entry level for employees who develop proficiency in GPS Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and tackle technical problems. Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key breakthroughs. May own part of a testing program. Able to independently formulate hypothesis, design experiments to test it, interpret sophisticated data, write reports and publications, communicate results in the business context, including at external events. Has mastered the basic regulatory and systems fundamentals in their capability area (registration, INCI, system management, ingredient and product compliance checks) or has technical mastery in a science area based on their informative background. May resolve regulatory strategies to support new initiatives or protect current business/formulations in the market, and defining GTM IMPs. Where appropriate, works with Distributors on regulatory compliance matters.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (chemistry, biology desirable).

  • 1-2 years of regulatory affairs experience, preferably in OTC monograph drug products.

  • Regulatory knowledge in pharmaceutical development, OTC products.

  • Must be familiar with and able to identify and interpret regulations, guidelines, standards, and other pertinent information issued by FDA.

  • Phenomenal analytical skills- logically breaking situations or issues down into their crucial elements: carrying out diagnosis and proposing multiple solutions.

  • Team orientation, “can-do “attitude and ability to deliver breakthrough results.

  • Operate with technical excellence while collaborating optimally with others.

  • Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal teamwork skills.

  • Strong analytical and communications skills.

  • Strong IT skills (desirable): knowledge of Microsoft Automation Apps (e.g. Power Apps); Python,
