Aerotek 1st Shift Maintenance Electrician in Wabash, Indiana

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a scrap metal recycling company in Wabash, Indiana. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for sketching and following blueprints to determine the location of wiring for equipment. The role requires extensive knowledge in troubleshooting electrical systems. No preventative maintenance.

  • Sketching and following blueprints

  • Running wire, conduit, and tubing

  • Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems

  • Inspecting electrical systems for safety and code compliance

  • Troubleshooting 480, 110, 220, 440, and 3-phase electrical systems

  • Reading electrical schematics

This is a permanent position.

This is a fully on-site position in Wabash, Indiana.

The shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential work until 5pm and occasional Saturdays (1-2 times a month). Personal protective equipment (PPE) required includes steel-toe boots.
