Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) is a not-for-profit organization providing thought leadership, and an evidence-based yet compassion-first approach to bereavement care. RTS offers grief support materials and industry-leading comprehensive perinatal, neonatal, pediatric, and adult death bereavement training to healthcare professionals globally, to help them provide outstanding family-centered care to patients and families experiencing loss through dying and death. Day to day you collaborate with program directors, senior faculty and operational staff to create and produce content, curriculum and support materials for internal, national and even international audiences on Bereavement Education. What's Available? Part time, 32 hours weekly (0.8 FTE) Schedule: M-F Days Location: Onsite in La Crosse, WI - However, may be open to a hybrid working model if outside a standard driving distance. An Ideal Candidate Will Have: Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or Communications 3-4 years experience in a business/ office setting with an emphasis on documentation creation, copy editing, formatting and proofreading. Collaborate with program directors, senior faculty members, operational staff, and Medical Media to create and produce content, curriculum, and support materials for national and international audiences, including healthcare professionals and executive level leaders. Major Responsibilities: 1. Design, direct, evaluate, and approve final formatting and print decisions for education materials, internal communications, and external communications. 2. Manage projects relating to curriculum materials for pilots and revisions. Examples include: powerpoint presentations, training manuals, research articles and position statements. 3. Coordinate, schedule and facilitate pricing and production with graphic artists, commercial printer, and Medical Media as needed. 4. Contact publishers and authors to request permissions. 5. Create APA resource lists; apply APA resource citations within all program materials. 6. Serve as advisor to content experts regarding curriculum development, design, layout and delivery. 7. Maintain a working knowledge of all programs, courses, and services in order to manage integration of cohesive, high quality program materials. 8. Demonstrate and apply advanced proofreading and writing skills. Assist with editing, as needed. 9. Manage and direct internal documentation identification system and storage. 10. Prepare and maintain operations reports, documentation, SOPs, and guide ines. 11. Manage ongoing staff education regarding internal forms, documentation, department shared drive and web applications. 12. Manage and direct all social media activities and results tracking, retail and promotional materials, National Program contacts to customers (e.g. newsletters, program updates), and electronic resources. 13. National Program Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in English or Marketing or Communications DESIRED Bachelor's degree in English or Marketing or Communications Work Experience: REQUIRED 3-4 years in a business/office setting with experience in APA style writing format. DESIRED 3-4 years of experience in a business/office or educational publication setting with emphasis on production and project management: specifically, advanced document creation, copy editing, formatting, information management, and proofreading. Experience with contractual language writing and interpreting medical terminology; experience with social media management and practices. License and Certifications: DESIRED Master Certification in Microsoft Office Suite Age Specific Population Served: Nonage Specific (N/A) OSHA Category: Category III - No employees in this job title have a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials.
