Schedule Weekly Hours: 40 Gundersen Health System is looking to grow our HR Technology team! We are in need of a strong Workday Payroll Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your Workday knowledge and business analyst skills to Gundersen to elevate our HR Technology solutions and department to the next level. This position will support our partners and will require a working understanding of design, configuration, testing, and reporting pertaining to the Workday Payroll module. What's Available: Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE) Core business hours, Monday-Friday Remote work options for residents in WI, MN, or IA only We have the ability to fill positions at various experience levels depending on your existing experience An Ideal Candidate Will Have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Must have a minimum of 2 years' Workday experience. Prior experience with Workday payroll configuration required Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for the Workday Payroll module, providing HCM system administration and support, configurations, enhancement, and deployment efforts Support multi-state payroll and reporting functions including payroll processing, reviewing and revising policies and procedures, proper reporting to the finance groups, internal controls, and system review Assist and manage payroll system setup including earnings, deductions, taxes, new programs, general ledger, and troubleshooting within Workday Strong working knowledge of payroll, wage and hour laws, department operations to communicate payroll wage and tax information, payroll procedures, and payroll system functionality to all levels of employees Understand key components of the Workday system and all interactions, including but not limited to Payroll, the HR Help Desk, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, and Self Service Strong Workday Payroll configuration and BPs testing required Coordinate all HR User Acceptance Testing to ensure that all business processes and system functionality are fully tested and functional Build/Write custom reports within Workday Payroll to troubleshoot issues in real-time Configure and maintain Workday security roles and groups to the required level of confidentially and segregation of duties In addition to this meaningful and important work, we offer a competitive benefits package: Benefits:In addition to medical and dental, we have pet insurance and a substantial contribution to retirement Work/life balance:24/7 Employee Assistance Program for employees and their families, generous PTO and paid holidays Health/Wellness:GunderZen Relaxation Room including massage chairs, corporate gym and yoga, local gym discounts Professional Development:Tuition Invest Program totaling up to $3k per year, access to a catalogue of hundreds of internal courses, corporate incubator, Career Development Center DEI:12 months of Celebration to include monthly educational events Job Description: Supports the design,configuration, testingand implementation of one or more human resource information system(s) and/or upgrade projects. Major Responsibilities: 1. Assists in identifying recommendationsto strategy, application usage, or process. 2. Performs work under general supervision. 3. Analyzes the discovery and conceptual design work required to translate business needs into solutions and features. 4. Ensures data integrity, testing of issues and system changes, audits, analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities and completes documentation on system and various modifications. 5. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. 6. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. 7. Applies knowledge of the business process in one or more functional areas. 8. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance. 9. Per orms other duties as assigned.
