$5,000 Sign On Bonus!! Purpose of Job This position is responsible for performing a variety of patient care activities to assist providers and nursing personnel in a specialty clinic. Facilitates patient/physician/provider communication and coordination of care. Job Functions Escorts patients to examination room and obtains vitals and documents in EMR. Supports physicians in documentation of patient's visit by entering physician's dictation into the EMR system during the patient's visit. Administers prescribed medications/vaccines and treatments in accordance with clinic policies and scope of certification/licensure. Prepares equipment and assists providers during examination, testing and treatment of patients. Performs room turn over in patient rooms between cases and at the end of day. Performs specialty procedures/tests as directed by the Physician Helps maintain stocked supplies and sterilizes instruments/exam room. Assists in arranging referrals/prior authorizations as necessary. Provides patient education. Assist in surgery. Other duties as assigned.
