Job Summary:

A clinically competent surgical technician working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in delivering safe and effective care to the patient during the intraoperative period. Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology Program. BLS from American Heart Association required. National Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred. New graduates will be considered.

South County Health respects staff work/life balances. Surgical Techs participate in call two to three times per six week scheduling block. Minimal call requirements including a rotation on Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday.
