Aerotek Maintenance Electrician - 2nd & 3rd - 120-160K in Walbridge, Ohio

Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

You will be responsible for troubleshooting circuit boards, DC Motors, Drive Packages, and ABB Switches. You will replace old drives with digital ones and troubleshoot PLC's. You will work with 480V 3 Phase on industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines. Additionally, you will be responsible for all secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders. Regularly, you will inspect and record the condition of electrical equipment including cranes, motors, generators, control panels, switches, and circuit panels. You will use electrical test equipment, drawings, blueprints, and schematics to install new equipment or diagnose problems with inoperative equipment. Arc Flash Experience is needed. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality control during emergency breakdowns to restore operations. Maintenance tasks on forklifts, such as changing wheels, greasing parts, and adjusting forks, will also be part of your responsibilities. You should be capable of reading blueprints, drawings, and schematics, and may be required to install or move machines around the plant.

Pay/Shift/Additional Information:

  • Direct Hire

  • Pay: $36.90/hr.

  • .55 cent premium for the 2nd shift and a .70 cents premium for the 3rd shift.

  • Overtime is paid at 1.5x after 8 hours daily and all day on Saturday.

  • Double time is paid after 12 hours daily, or if working 7 days, the 7th day is double time ($72/hr).

  • Shifts

  • 2nd (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

  • 3rd (11:00pm - 7:00am).

  • Initially, candidates will work on the day shift (7:00am - 3:00pm). You can work 7/8s or even 7/12s if desired.
