Job Title: Material Handler Forklift

Job Description

We are looking for a Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading inbound shipments, preparing outbound shipments, verifying that merchandise matches shipping documents, moving merchandise to storage locations, and documenting put-away locations. Additionally, they will be labeling and stickering orders, picking orders for shipment, and inspecting forklifts on a daily basis to identify any potential problems.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments

• Prepare outbound shipments

• Verify merchandise matches shipping documents

• Move merchandise to storage and document put-away locations

• Report any shipment discrepancies

• Label and sticker orders

• Pick orders and prepare them for shipment

• Inspect forklifts daily for potential problems

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of forklift experience in a warehouse

• Experience with unloading, shipping, and receiving

• Proficiency with pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks

• Experience using RF scanners

• Reliable and flexible

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• General labor experience

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean and organized dry storage warehouse. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
