Description Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist - St Mary Medical Center-Walla Walla, WA The Medical Technologist I is responsible for pre-analytic and post-analytic testing of blood and body fluids to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Shift Details: Part time, Variable shift, 8 Hour Daily Overtime 80 Hour Week Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, physical or biologic science, or medical technology from accredited institution. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Formal laboratory technology training.
