Duties

Serve as a hydraulic modeler, including monitoring wet weather flow, updating growth projections, updating and creating hydraulic models for various utilities across the country, model calibration, capacity evaluations and I/I sources. Develop an Asset Management Plan that includes lift station condition assessment and rehab/replacement forecasts and conducting a wastewater rate and connection fee study. Task results will be combined with findings and recommendations from water resources and effluent discharge permitting tasks to create a comprehensive Master Plan for various utilities. Wastewater treatment hydraulic profile development and analysis. Model development, simulation and analysis tools experience include ICM Infoworks, and PCSWMM. Model results visualization tools experience include ArcGIS ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, Power BI and Excel. Help in creating and submitting project proposals to utilities in the West region. Mentor Junior staff. No hire/fire authority. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related, and 3 years of related experience. EIT required. Must have experience with ArcGIS, PCSWMM, and ICM Infoworks. Must also have experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Must have experience with Python. Must have experience with Sewer Inflow and Infiltration modeling, rainfall evaluations, gravity flow meter calibrations, and engineering calculations for pipe flow capacity. National travel required 10%. Telecommuting 2-3 days per week permissible within a reasonable commuting distance to the Walnut Creek, CA office. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
