Unique Opportunity

As a Market Development Manager, you will have the chance to shape the future of our channel marketing strategies. You will be a key to the success of the Biosciences Division’s Global Channel Marketing team with primary responsibility for supporting select strategic channel partners. The team runs our channel relationships and programs across five separate businesses within the division. This role is in charge of growing our relationship with the commercial teams through innovative training programs and support. By focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with key channel partners and functional collaborators, you will assure that annual strategy, new products introductions, and technical training programs are developed and completed. Key Responsibilities

  • Together with the channel management team, establish and refine processes to support commercial execution with channel partners, encouraging positive and strong relationships.

  • Create and deliver commercial team trainings to build awareness of key operational resources and campaigns driven by the commercial engagement program, with an emphasis on creating engaging sessions that drive focus and measure this success in alignment with the division’s commercial initiatives.

  • Support expanded development and deployment of sales enablement materials and programs and attend events targeting specific commercial groups within the channels; this role directly delivers training and supports relevant events.

  • Act as an active participant and influential member of the team, crafting strategy and enabling a high-performance culture.

  • Handle travel schedule to perform and support regional trainings, conferences, and other meetings.

  • Track, analyze, and measure feedback received from audiences to adapt the content and delivery of resources to be the most effective.

  • Proactively identify, create, and distribute standard methodologies for working with relevant channel partners, platforms, and programs.

  • Apply data-driven insights to improve and enhance marketing strategies.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead in the market.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing, commercial, or product management roles.

  • Technical experience with products, workflows, and applications within the Life Sciences market, with the ability to understand and connect different applications.

  • Familiarity with sales training and related practices.

  • Confirmed ability to create and implement successful strategies.

  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail and personal accountability.

  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with large breadth of applications and products used in the scientific industry

Familiarity with digital marketing and training tools and platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$140,000.00.
