Job Summary and Qualifications

The Network Administrator is a key role within Mobile Heartbeat reporting to the Director of IT. Responsible for daily operations and maintenance/upkeep of key Network/Systems and security measures.

  • Participate in day-to-day IT and Operations processes

  • Perform and report on IT projects, including Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and related technologies within the organization.

  • Monitor and maintain hardware, software, networks, security systems

  • Create and Maintain documentation and Knowledge Base Articles

  • Create and Maintain Network and Architecture Diagrams

  • Experience Maintaining Firewalls and Security Appliances

  • Challenge existing work practices and suggest better approaches, processes, and systems, where appropriate

  • Participate Daily in Service Desk and Reactionary IT, occasionally with weekend and off-hours as needed.

  • Partake in any other duties as needed when priorities change.

  • Willingness to get involved in every IT/Operations and related processes, with enthusiasm for learning new technologies and helping out anywhere

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands on experience with relevant technologies in business setting.

  • At least 5 years experience in business IT

  • At least 2 years with enterprise systems/networking and related.

  • Up to 15% travel within the US

  • Virtualization, Storage, Backup/DR (VMware) Experience

  • Cloud Technologies (Azure) Experience

  • Managing VPN and Remote Access Systems Experience

  • MDM Administration Experience

  • End Point + Network Protection and Monitoring Systems Experience

  • Managing Atlassian Products Experience

  • Entra-ID/Windows-AD Cloud and OnPrem Experience – IDP/SSO Systems

  • Multi Platform Windows, Mac OS X, Linux/Unix, iOS/Android

  • Remote Operations

  • HIPAA / healthcare and SOC2 / Regulatory Experience
