RPA Manager, Fresenius Management Services, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Waltham, Massachusetts (Remote)

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for leading the design, development, configuration, and testing of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) applications. Manages and leads the development and configuration of automation processes as per the technical requirements and specifications for the application. Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or automation of existing processes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business process review meetings/workshops to generate awareness of RPA capabilities, documenting current process pain points and identifying opportunities for automation.

  • Manage the identification and prioritization of use cases, sustaining a healthy opportunity pipeline.

  • Establish milestones and monitor progress of plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive mitigation strategies and solutions.

  • Mentor/advise colleagues through the automation software lifecycle, providing advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques.

  • Serve as a liaison between the technical and functional teams.

  • Promote and drive adoption of emerging automation technologies across the enterprise.

  • Support CoE lead in developing concepts, governance structures, and building a global community for Intelligent Process Automation.

  • Develop regular reports and analysis to measure return on invest, demonstrate automation success and share success stories.

  • Responsible for leading and managing the design, development, configuration, and testing of RPA applications.

  • Leads the development and configuration of automation processes as per the requirements and specifications for the application.

  • Create sophisticated automation platform roadmap and own delivery on key breakthroughs, capabilities and KPIs (e.g., adoption) related to the roadmap.

  • Responsible for architectural and design discussions and decisions and raises long-term architecture issues within project.

  • Conduct design and code reviews of multiple projects.

  • Generate data for project planning, including task breakdown & estimation of work for a project.

  • Communicate team and project status to Program Manager and/or Director.

  • Contribute to the continued improvement of the organization’s development procedures by looking for opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.

  • Provide assistance to junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions.

Education Experience and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics or a closely related field.

  • 2 years of experience as an RPA Engineer.

  • Position also requires 2 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with the following:

  • UiPath and SQL, HTML, JavaScript, or a related programming language;

  • Working on RPA design and development projects from start to finish;

  • Common programming tools including Python for Business Analytics, Data Mining, Data Management and Modeling, Advanced Excel, Power BI and structured development and testing methodologies including RE Framework;

  • Agile practices including Scrum and Kanban Plus;

  • DevOps Engineering practices including Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and CI/CD; and

  • Standard languages, coding methods and operational requirements in a client-server environment.

  • Must have strong analytical skills and ability to work creatively and independently in a problem-solving environment.

This is a telecommuting position working from home. May reside anywhere in the United States
