What You'll Do at Pega:

  1. Learn to master the art of clear and persuasive communication. This includes both verbal and written skills to articulate value propositions and engage with clients effectively.

  2. Develop strong relationship building skills with clients and stakeholders. This involves active listening, empathy, and the ability to build trust over time.

  3. Begin to develop an understanding of the software being sold, including its features, benefits, and competitive advantages. This enables sellers to tailor their pitches and address client needs accurately.

  4. Learn to navigate and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. This includes understanding CRM tools, sales cycles, and pipeline management. Discipline in this space separates you for others in the market.

Who You Are:

The ideal intern for an enterprise software sales team is a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a strong desire to learn and grow. They possess excellent communication skills, allowing them to articulate ideas clearly and engage effectively with clients and team members. Analytical thinking is a key trait, enabling them to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions. Additionally, they are a team player who collaborates well with others, contributing to the overall success of the team. A background in business, marketing, IT, communications, or economics further enhances their ability to understand and navigate the complexities of enterprise software sales.

Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or Economics program.
