In this Senior Benefits Analyst role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing the strategies that support our health benefits. Data analytics, vendor management, program implementation, and coordination of employee communications will be among your key responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to connect with all levels of the organization, as well as hands-on project management experience. A deep understanding of health benefits is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytic support for health benefits design, implementation and monitoring in the U.S. and Canada. Your scope will include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and voluntary benefits, as well as health engagement programs.

  • Act as project manager for health plan strategy development, vendor sourcing, and key integrations and initiatives in the US and Canada.

  • Support strategic vendor relationships to ensure contracted services meet our standards and achieve desired results. Partner with program management team on benefit implementations and ongoing communications.

  • Work with vendor partners to stay current on their product roadmaps and regulatory developments and help position the Company’s plans to take advantage of opportunities to lower costs and improve benefits and delivery platforms.

  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with a diverse group of key internal partners, including the Colleague Service Team, Human Resources, and Finance.

  • Build presentations and dashboards to support senior executive recommendations, and perform ad hoc benefits strategy analysis, benchmarking and reporting.

  • Track medical and insurance claims trends and assist external consultants with data requests to support forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment at growth/scaling stage business and partnering cross-functionally, with growing levels of responsibility

  • Demonstrated ability (5+ years) in health and insurance benefits design and/or administration, including vendor management

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Public Health or other related field; or proven experience in a similar role

  • Attention to detail, flexibility, ability to prioritize and take initiative, and intellectual curiosity that drives independent research and analysis

  • Strong ability to interpret data, apply financial insight, recognize and communicate trends, and develop data-driven recommendations

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong skills with digital spreadsheet and presentation tools
