Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Description

The Warehouse Lead oversees many of the daily activities for an account, department, or station of a warehouse operation. They maintain inventory accuracy, adhere to quality standards, and ensure the effective use of staff. This position oversees inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities. They track operational efficiency and ensure work completion in an operational area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including unloading and unpacking shipments.

• Manage inbound processing, scanning, and shelving of parts.

• Handle pulling orders and data entry into computerized inventory control systems.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and control.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Track operational efficiency and ensure completion of work.

• Utilize barcode scanning, RF scanners, and manage shipping and receiving.

• Perform picking and packing duties.

Essential Skills

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to stand for long periods.

• Ability to lift up to 20lbs.

• Experienced with RF scanners.

• Experienced with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

• Proficient in data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 20lbs.

• Experienced with inputting data.

Work Environment

The warehouse is climate controlled with multiple breaks daily and a large cafeteria to purchase or store food. The schedule includes: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, 2nd shift Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm (until January 24'), and 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm.
