$21.15 - 29.62 USD per hour, depending on experience. Licensed Practical Nurse / Overview A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider.

• Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing

• Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit

• Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)

Work Environment

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing, and lifting.

• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.

• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
