As a Service Writer, you are the face of Wamsutter Conoco to our customers. Your most important job is to provide outstanding customer service and maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the shop. You will also schedules repairs with customers and prepares schedules with shop & field service personnel. Oversees timely processing of work orders.

 

What Will You Do?

• Answers walk-in customer inquiries, responds to customer phone calls and schedules work based on customer inquiry and labor needs.

• Recognizes customer needs and responds accordingly.

• Informs managers and others of current status of schedule, work orders and customer needs.

• Responds to requests for purchasing, billing, invoicing information, as well as requests for machine information and work orders.

• Prepares quote, reflecting cost of repairs to customer.

• Opens, prepares and closes work orders. Contacts customers to obtain purchase orders at work order closing.

• Enters service story on work orders.

• Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service

• Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in the store

• Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register

• Receive cash from customers and give correct change

• Perform all regular cleaning activities and other tasks that are included on job assignments

• Expedites the procurement of parts needed for equipment repair by determining parts availability.

• Ensures inventory meets proper turnover ratio standards.

• Researches catalogs and contacts vendors to ascertain cost and availability of parts.

• Prepares weekly and monthly inventory level reports.

• Must be able to follow directions and instructions from your Supervisors and Management

• Mechanical aptitude would be helpful
