HAS FULL-TIME / PERMANENT / LONG-TERM
WAREHOUSE MACHINE OPERATOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Forklift experience required
Ability to lift 60 lbs required
Long-term, dependable candidate required
Seed or Agriculture warehouse experience preferred, but not required
Must adhere to WISHA/Labor & Industries safety practices
Must have valid US driver's license, be insurable, and have reliable transportation
Must have effective written and oral communication skills
Must be able to work in fast paced, stressful situations
Must be able to work in noisy, hot, and cold environments
GENERAL OUTLINE OF DUTIES:
January through May = Shipping Season: Treat Seed, Mix Seed Treatment (if licensed), Bag Seed (lifting up to 55 lb sacks), Palletize Seed, Clean Machinery in-between Seed Variety Changes, Hyster Driving, Loading Trucks & Boxcars
May through June = Box Cleaning: Clean Boxes of all Residual Seed, Repair Wood & Metal Boxes as Necessary, Hyster Driving to Retrieve Boxes, Heavy Lifting During Cleaning Process
July through August = Harvest: Hyster Driving -- Stacking Boxes, Collecting Seed into Boxes from Farmer's Trucks, Sampling of Seed, Communication with Fieldsmen & Growers
September through December = Milling/Cleaning Seed + Container Shipments: Run Milling Equipment to Clean Seed, Some Machine Repairing/Maintenance, Clean Machinery in-between Variety Changes, Hyster Driving, Weighing Boxes, Loading Ocean Containers (most hand stack)

Starting wage range is $18.50 - $20.00 per hour; however, each applicant is determined on a case-by-case basis and is ultimately offered a wage DOE/Q.
