Position Overview
As the Human Resources & Administrative Assistant you will be expected to perform a variety of clerical and other duties in support of the office. The position will allow you to gain experience and insight into many different aspects of a healthcare business.
Initially, this will be a part-time position, approximately 12 - 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm).
Primary Responsibilities:
Reflect the core values of DAALD Senior Care LLC d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise
Ensure accuracy and organization of both client and CarePro files
Enter and maintain accurate client and CarePro records in the operating system
Assist in the recruiting & hiring process for new CarePros, starting with pre-employment screening all the way through onboarding
Complete reference calls on prospective CarePros in a timely manner
Answer and distribute incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
Assist colleagues in preparing client materials for home visits
Assist in the bi-weekly billing process
Take on special projects throughout all departments of the business
Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
College degree preferred
Experience in home care or similar industry preferred
Active CHHA license or willing to obtain is a plus
Must have knowledge of computers, including entire Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent time management and ability to stay organized
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective written and verbal communication
Must be a self-starter and proactive
