GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Receive store and issue materials from warehouse storage locations

DUTIES

  • Update and maintain inventory in CostPoint, ADIS, and/or management database
  • Prepare, verify and organize material receipt documentation for Quality Assurance inspection
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies inspecified warehouse locations
  • Communicate schedules and deadlines to internal departments and external suppliers as needed
  • Package and prepare materials for shipment and prepare appropriate shipping documentation
  • Schedule shipments for pickup utilizing appropriate shipping company computer interfaces
  • Assemble and prepare production kits utilizing engineering documentation as directed
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Requires a minimum of3 yearsofrelevant experience
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering documents such as CAD drawings and Bills of Material
  • Must have previous experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Must be able to utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Requires time management, organization, and the ability to deal with complex tasks
  • Requires a basic knowledge of process improvement
  • Requires the understanding of material inventory control
  • Requires basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances
  • May be required to read dials/gauges, idnetify small objects and hand tools
  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Mustbe able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
  • Works in a normal manufacturing environment.
