Lead Development and Quality Assurance (Dev QA) Engineer, Warren, MI, General Motors. Create innovative testing solutions, design, develop, validate, verify, and maintain automated test strategies, scripts, and tools to test and deploy GM passenger vehicle Vehicle Interface Processor (VIP) and Vehicle Data Component (VData), and FlexCharge (for Vehicle Cockpit Unit (VCU) and Central Compute Unit (CCU) platforms) including In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and power mode modules containing Suspend to RAM (STR) and Start Up and Shut Down (SUSD), and Real Time Operation System Core (RTOS-Core) containing Time-of-Day (TOD) and QNX-Logger (including simulating Control Area Network (CAN) bus messages, Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus messages, and Automotive Ethernet messages), in Python and Java programming languages, in Ubuntu and Windows operating systems, using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, X-Ray, PyCharm Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Artifactory, Vector CANoe, and Vehicle Spy tools, and Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), VCUMate and ECOMate hardware. Perform diagnostic services including Read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Clear DTCs, Read Parameter Identifiers (PIDs), Read Data Identifiers (DIDs), and run diagnostics routines using Vehicle Spy tool. Master, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, or related. Twelve months' experience as Engineer, Project Lead, Project Manager, or related, designing or validating automated test scripts to test Vehicle Interface Processor (VIP) or a Connected Ecosystem, in Python and Java programming languages, and developing automated test scripts within development quality assurance requirements, or related.
