Responsibilities Applies inventory management and supply planning operations expertise to balance supply to meet forecasted demand by generating secondary item supply action recommendations. Supports the weapon system manager in the development and document the supply support strategy, in applicable documentation, IAW policy and regulatory guidance. Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion. Leads team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees per established workflow, and skill level and/or occupational specialization and making adjustments to accomplish the workload. Will be able to coordinate repair strategies to initiate component repairs. Can prepare and communicate status regarding supply availability for components managed for assigned weapon systems. Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2 This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process.
