Actalent Civil Design Engineer in Warren, New Jersey

Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

This is a 100% design role. Develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projects that include local developers, educational institutions, and residential & multi-family. Responsibilities include zoning and ordinance review, site design (layout, grading, soil erosion, and stormwater management), and ensuring stormwater management compliance with local and state regulations. Manage multiple projects through the approval process, interact with clients and reviewing engineers to satisfy their requests, and handle permitting and approval processes at the local, county, and state levels. Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD for various design tasks, including slopes analysis, profile development, road corridors, terrains setup, pipe networks, and grading.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Warren, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Office in Warren. 3-person team on the land development team. M-F in office. 40-45 hour work weeks max.
