Job Objective
Provides day-to-day technical support to employees, contractors and consultants for computer systems software and hardware. Images, configures and wipes desktops, laptops, tablets and phones in a heterogeneous environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. Implements hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.
Tasks/Responsibilities
Assists in the setup and support of new hire employees, customers, and clients
Troubleshoots and performs PC and peripheral repairs for PTC's internal and remote clients.
Works in conjunction with Facilities, Security, Desktop Management and Applications Management.
Responds to assigned tickets (routine and urgent) within the timeframe specified by the current service level agreement and works issues through to resolution; Maintains appropriate documentation within the Incident system as determined through periodic ticket quality reviews.
Performs basic hardware troubleshooting.
Performs basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
Performs basic software installation processes and software troubleshooting.
Follows standard operating processes for routine situations and asks for guidance in new or unusual situations.
Performs effective issue escalation to level 3 groups when necessary.
Follows standard operating processes and best practices for all service situations.
Responsible for project participation including system upgrades, service improvement initiatives and service requests.
Responsible for learning and utilizing new services and products or changes to existing services and products.
Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline.
Uses skills with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
Comfortable working within a team but able to work independently.
Excellent phone skills
Customer service oriented.

Active Directory
Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with strong working knowledge of excel, including writing Macro's and data manipulation
Superb attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills.

Excellent time management skills.
This is a one (1) year Talent Pipeline Program and the candidate/applicant must be able to complete the entire one-year program
Fellow must be a recent college graduate.
