What You Can Expect

Manages internal corporate EHS audit program and conducts audits; coordinates collection and summary of EHS metrics; assists with development of EHS management systems; provides technical support for site EHS staff and assists with daily EHS activities at Zimmer Warsaw.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Ensures compliance with requirements of internal corporate EHS audit program, conducts audits, prepares reports and maintains related documentation system and metrics

  • Advises site management and EHS staff on actions necessary to comply with EHS regulatory and company requirements.

  • Responsible for the implementation of harmonized EHS systems and practices across sites that improve the integrity and ensure the consistency of corporate EHS metrics

  • Responsible for updating EHS procedures, website information and other awareness/promotional materials

  • Conducts industrial hygiene tests to determine employee exposure to chemicals and environmental conditions or works with outside vendor to coordinate internal testing

  • Supports daily EHS activities at Zimmer Warsaw site as needed

  • Assists EHS director with coordination and standardization of EHS management system activities.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Auditing skills.

  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and a working knowledge of EHS related international regulations.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management or equivalent plus 5-7 years experience in an EHS staff position.

Travel Expectations

  • Up to 20%
