If you are a TIG welder that has at least 3 years of on the job experience; then this is an opportunity for you! Randstad is seeking TIG Welders for the Greater Warwick and Cranston areas. Candidates will be required to produce quality workmanship working with stainless steel, aluminum, alloys, and titanium. As well as perform various weld patterns. Responsibilities

• TIG Welding of light gauge steel and aluminum to company standards.

• Interpreting mechanical drawings, Shop Build Drawings, weld requirement symbols, other mechanical drawings, and Work Orders.

• Fabrication of parts and components with the use of press brake, shears, drill press, air grinders and polishers, sanders, saws both cold and band, and mechanical form benders.

• Familiarity with operating (not programming) CNC equipment. Knowledge of Bridgeport operation a plus.

• Ability to perform basic numerical calculations.

• Ability to use conventional and precision measuring instruments and tools.

• Work with existing jigs and templates to replicate existing fixtures.

• Work to allowed tolerances and maintain Company quality standards.

• Complete Work Orders, as assigned, and on time, to meet company production goals.

• Able to perform data entry function for the material used into the Manufacturing software system.

• Maintains welding equipment, as needed.

• Maintains a safe work environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time
