Microsoft Corporation Senior Hybrid Learning Program Manager in Washington D.C., District Of Columbia

​​​Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is at the core of Microsoft Azure cloud services. The team is responsible for designing, building, and operating our unified global datacenters; managing the demand planning and capacity utilization of our unified infrastructure; and responsible for all of the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure (including supply chain, hardware, power, security, and workflow teams). The CO+I Learning team is chartered to empowering Microsoft’s future cloud growth by developing a diverse, committed and highly capable Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) workforce.

​The CO+I Learning Curriculum Development team is tasked with driving marketing excellence and innovation across the organization, partnering across learning marketing, strategy, marketing technology, data science and enablement. Using advanced analytics, marketing automation, and digital marketing, we are on a mission to transform our customers’ experience, motivating market share, consumption, and consistent double-digit+ revenue growth. 

​Microsoft’s Cloud Operations + Innovation Learning Development team is looking for a Senior Hybrid Learning Program Manager to join our Curriculum Development team. We are looking for an entrepreneurial problem solver to define and guide the learning marketing and enablement transformation roadmap for CO+I Learning by optimizing existing and creating new marketing and data capabilities strategies to help scale the impact of our vast learning catalog, role-based learning paths, microlearning, AI-powered courseware and focused practical activities for specific roles in Microsoft’s global data center community. Our audience is comprised of dozens of professional roles across management, engineering, program management and datacenter operations to name just a few. This role is located in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.

Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.

This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.

Responsibilities

​​As a Senior Hybrid Learning Program Manager , you will have the opportunity to shape our overall approach, demonstrate cross-functional leadership, and deliver performance insights. You will be accountable for driving CO+I’s scaling plans through the optimization of existing, and development of net-new curriculum marketing strategies that help CO+I and greater Microsoft teams to thrive from greater and more personalized learning experiences. If you have a customer-first mindset, with a desire for solving complex problems and driving impact through a mix of strategy, analysis, and experimentation, this could be a great fit.

Program Ownership:

Develop and drive all aspects of CO+I Learning field guidance, design, communication, landing and ongoing iteration. This role demands substantial executive interaction, spearheading working groups, maintaining internal team and stakeholder engagement with regular updates on progress and obstacles, and overseeing a structured meeting schedule with CO+I Learning Leaders. Evaluate the design, process and application of CO+I Learning’s Customer Engagement Methodology and communications standards and guide core teams to ensure consistent alignment and cooperation. Coordinate and disseminate all necessary documentation to assist CO+I Learning leadership in understanding, providing feedback, and to collaborate with CO+I Business and Marketing managers and their teams.

Define our approach:

​Develop our marketing & data capabilities strategy and orchestrate the end-to-end plan.

​Define our measurement methodology & investment roadmap. ​Create an experimentation and data-motivated environment to motivate ongoing improvements. ​Contribute to all-up CO+I Learning Curriculum Development strategy development and iteration.Analyze global L&D survey results and develop Curriculum Development interpretation and response action plans to survey conclusions.

Design and Coordination:

Collaborate with Core Stakeholders to establish written, presentation and online guidance for CO+I Learning teams to ensure professional structure and messaging consistency. Work with worldwide learning teams to establish collaborative organizational solutions and standards. Team with CO+I Learning Knowledge Management, Curriculum managers and team leadership to develop effective marketing and communications standards across CO+I Learning keystone programs and resources such as the CO+I Academy, Role Excellence, Emerging and Advance Leadership Programs, and Global Onboarding Guides.

​Facilitate cross-functional clarity & collaboration

​Bring together strategy, analytics, data, capabilities, and field and sales engagement owners, to lead business requirements and delivery. ​Understand and represent marketing and sales specific needs.​Partner with marketing leaders, connected marketing & sales motion owners to create guidelines and define business needs to maximize near-term impact and build for the future.

​Facilitate change management across multiple teams to reach specific timelines. ​Be the voice, ambassador, authority, and owner of our work with senior leadership.

Strategic Insights:

Own providing critical insights to leadership on CO+I Learning Marketing and Communications strategies with measurable outcomes. Track and share usage analytics and area maturity progress to drive optimal learning utilization and effectiveness worldwide. As the owner of this critical process, leverage data to provide consistent and actionable feedback/insights on the status and landing of our strategy within CO+I Learning.

​Deliver performance insights

​Deliver real time, deep performance insights across experimentation roadmap. ​Create visibility of investment opportunities and progress blockers with leadership.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) in Adult Learning/Instructional Design, Business, marketing or related field AND 5+ years’ experience in the technology business

  • Or Master’s degree in in Adult Learning/Instructional Design, Business, Marketing or related field AND 3+ years’ experience in business

  • Or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of Adult Learning curriculum development experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Instructional Design, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Instructional Design, Business or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in business.

  • Strategic thinking complemented with high attention to detail, a bias for action and execution/operational excellence.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrix environment, deal with ambiguity, and create clarity for people and teams.

  • Proven track record of collaboration, influencing others and communicating with executive audiences.

  • Analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to problem solving.

Integrated Learning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
