The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire Housekeeping area, to include guest rooms, public areas, and night cleaning. This requires some understanding of Housekeeping operations, and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with room inspections, job assignments, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. Responsibilities will also include staff training, development, coaching, inventory, ordering, scheduling, and payroll among other things as needed. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will promote an atmosphere that ensures guest and colleague satisfaction, and drive a culture of care. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments, and team members.

The salary range for this position is $61,800 to $74,100 (commensurate with experience). This is a great opportunity for someone with a hospitality degree and some leadership experience to someone with extensive leadership experience in a hotel or cleaning company, even a current department head in a smaller or select service hotel. We will consider a number of factors when determining the salary, such as experience, education, and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel experience preferred
