Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Systems Administrator III to join our team to join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads operations and maintenance efforts pertaining to AR/VR technologies for specifically assigned TDLs

  • Installs, troubleshoots, upgrades, and maintains hardware and software, and maintains and updates end user and system-level documentation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement end user-driven process improvements and monitor their impact

  • Create immersive and interactive virtual experiences that enhance the design, development, and production processes that leverage VR technologies to optimize and improve the effectiveness of training programs

  • Develop and implement plans that address implementation, troubleshooting, repair, upgrade, performance optimization, and training for end users of AR/VR system components

  • Interfaces with users, technology vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and user experience expectations are exceeded and emergent industry best practices are routinely considered

  • Collaborates with engineers and designers to translate their requirements into effective VR solutions and provide guidance and mentorship to more junior AR/VR Administrators

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline

  • Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate’s degree

  • A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience

  • Five (5) years of position-specific experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Systems, or related discipline

Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI w/ CI Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
