Insight Global Community Outreach Project Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Description
Community Engagement: Develop and implement community outreach strategies to inform and engage local residents about upcoming and ongoing construction projects.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team and community stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing updates.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute community meetings, open houses, and other events to facilitate dialogue and gather feedback from residents.
Public Relations: Collaborate with the PR team to create and distribute informational materials, including newsletters, press releases, and social media updates.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address potential community issues related to construction activities, working to mitigate impacts and find solutions.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of community interactions and feedback, providing regular reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure all outreach activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Urban Planning, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years in community outreach, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the construction industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with community members and stakeholders.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing community concerns. null
