Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Configuration Manager to join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Configuration Manager maintains the configuration baseline, which is a set of approved and controlled versions of project or system components serving as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment. The Configuration Manager II is a journeyman role, controlling components as projects and systems are developed, updated, and deployed. The Configuration Manager II takes direction from more senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

• A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

• 2 years of position-specific relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline. Experience with Configuration Change Board (CCB) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline. Experience with industry-standard or DoD-directed CM tools such as Git or Subversion and experience with team tools such as Jira, Confluence.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Must have an active Top Secret and must be eligible for a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations .

For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
