We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst. The successful candidate will provide full-time direct support to the Lead System Engineer and Program Protection Lead for Advanced Radars (Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) and Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR)) programs in support of PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors and Lasers. You will serve on the Program Protection Working Group and provide support as the Lead Cybersecurity/RMF Analyst responsible for the Authorization and Assessment process under the RMF for new and existing Navy radar information systems. You will be expected to maintain Authority to Operate compliance for all RMF packages. Primarily providing technical and programmatic services and must have ability to understand and communicate effectively with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across all levels of government and industry. A hybrid work environment is acceptable; however, you must have the ability to work regularly from the client site in the Washington Navy Yard area and travel up to 5% of the time.

Required Experience

  • Possess DOD SECRET security clearance

  • 3+ years of Navy experience providing information assurance, engineering, or operational support, including experience with eMASS and DISA STIGs and STIG Viewer experience

  • Hands-on experience to validate control implementations and test procedures

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Must be energetic, thoughtful, product-oriented, dependable, flexible, open-minded individual with an eagerness to learn with demonstrated strong work ethic

  • Demonstrated forward thinking and proactive problem-solving skills

    Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an acquisition program office environment, with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines

    Specific responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a Cyber Security RMF Analyst / Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) who ensures that the highest quality products and services are delivered

  • Lead efforts to bring platform information technology systems through the full life cycle of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve/renew Authority to Operate (ATO)

  • Generate and maintain the complete security Body of Evidence (BoE) while leading the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities according to the RMF processes (CNSSI-1253, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, etc.) for all Advanced Radars information systems

  • Author, complete and maintain the System Security Plan (SSP), Security Controls and plan of action and milestones (POA&Ms) within eMASS

  • Support cyber policy implementation, artifact development, and requirements updates

  • Perform verification and validation of delivered systems; develop test plans and procedures

  • Assist with the assessment of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans & Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

  • Communicate risks and issues to the PEO IWS 2.0 designated Qualified Navy Validator and Functional Authorizing Official

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
