Elevance Health DEI Engagement Internship - Summer 2024 in WASHINGTON, District Of Columbia
A DEI Engagement Intern will support the DEI function by becoming a collaborative partner with the team and our organizational partners.
How you will make an impact:
Provide written and digital content creation in support of DEI strategic priority projects.
Create just-in-time guides/materials for leaders to use when faced with DEI-related discussions
Draft communications for CDEIO & others including external recognition and highlighting internal milestones.
Assist in project coordination and follow-up on action items, using software management tools
Examples of projects for this role:
Coordinate the planning and execution of one internal webinar to engage associates.
Review external and internal learning catalog of offerings and curate DEI learning resources
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day for the duration of the summer internship program
Currently enrolled in a Human Resources or Communications program at an accredited college/university at an undergraduate or graduate level
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral. Experience with writing for school publications or related opportunities preferred.
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Excellent Presentation skills
